CATALAN LEAGUE OF ROWING

Last summer was hard for me and my team, but finally we won the Catalan League of rowing.
I still remember the day that our trainer said: Do you want to win the league this year?
We looked at ourselves and then we answered: YES!
I thought that it would be difficult, but if we got it we would realize a dream.
Who wouldn´t want to win a league?

The pre-season was fantastic, we won the Catalan competition of ergometry and rowing in Palamós. Then we won the Catalan competition of rowing in Banyoles too but the luck didn't last for ever. In Port de la Selva the jury told us wrong distance,and so in the final when we were wining we did the distance that jury said but the real distance was the twice this amount.
The pre-season finished and then we trained a lot for the league.
The league started very well, we won the first competition in Blanes with 11s up. When the 2nd competition was due , on the final race we had a problem with a girl of our team and we were 2nd. That problem bad and it damaged the league. In my opinion the best solution was that the problematic girl couldn't row until her attitude improved. For bad luck no one supported me and the girl continued row.

We lost the next competition, and the other until in Deltebre where we ware first! It changed our mood and we were very funny.
It was a funny thing bad we had some bad news, we only had one competition to win the league.

The last competition arrived, the seniors won, the cadets won, and we...
WON TOO!
Unfortunately the problems in our team continued and the last Catalonia's competition when we were 1st, the problematic girl stopped rowing ( I don't know why) and the 2nd boat advance us in 20 lasts meters.

It has been a fantastic summer and league thanks to rowing!

COMPETITION OF ROWING !

That is a video of a rowing competition it appears a videoclip- In a rowing federation web. There are different videoclips for each competition and this song is special for my team because we won the league there, in Lloret de mar. During the year we go there two times. When these competitions get closer we are so nervous because we always lose there.
Finally in the last comptetition, we proved our level and that we can win when we set out to do it.
That video show the differents races of that day. The race is different for each category, for cadet's category the race lasts about 3 minutes and is 500m longer, the race of juvenil's category lasts 5-6 minutes and is 1km longer like veteran's cateogry and finally the senior's category lasts 7-8 minutes and is 1,5 km longer. It can seems that it is short but rowing is an explosive sport and requires a lot of energy in a short time.

My summer job

Last summer I worked in a summer camp. I was the instructor of P4 (children are 4 or 5 years old). I think that it would be tired and heavy but it was the opossite, It was wonderful. When I arrived every morning all children hug me and they made be happy to see me. The first week was a little difficult, I didn't know that I had done because I didn't know the children but They make know so fast. I organized activities for them with Jofre, Jordi , Núria and Maria (the others instructors of P4) . We created a story and intruduced the children into that. Was struck me most was the fondnees that I have to them. The love of the children every day it's wonderful, Everyday they have a smiling and a hug for you, only for that they make to be happy to you.

The other wonderful part of the summer camp is the all instructors. They are a fantastic people, they warmly welcomed me since the first day and now they are another friend's group for me for pass a good time together. Last summer was fantastic with them and I will never forget all moments that we spent together.

I think that we have already still lernt to respect the world. Because now we can see the effects of our actions, like pollution, on the Earth.

Probably now we'll start to repect the world but before the people didn't thinks that we world answer our destructions.

And now the majority to recycle and try to use a ecologic sistems...

But now it's too late, if we had acted befor nowe would be more quite and all should be good.
